Description
CensusCD+Maps contains demographic variables about the United States:
  • 1990 US Census Data (3,400 variables) for 16 levels of geography
  • current Consumer Expenditure Data
  • current estimates and 5 year projections
  • County Time Series Data
  • Historical population from 1790 to 1990 by county
  • Boundary files for all geographies
Data can be exported to most software packages:  statistical (e.g. SAS, SPSS), database (e.g. Access,  Oracle), spreadsheet (e.g. Excel, 1-2-3)  - mapping (e.g. ArcView, MapInfo).
 
System Requirements
To view and extract the data, you must use the CD Census Viewer 1.1 installed on only ONE workstation Walter Hitschfeld Geographic Centre. SPSS, Excel, Access, ArcView and MapInfo software is also available on this workstation.
