Campus access
Access to all licensed electronic resources offered at McGill is controlled
by IP address. McGill users can access all electronic resources from
outside the campus via three modes:
From
Montreal:
(modem - local) Dialup Access
Service (DAS)
Long
distance from Canada and the U.S.:
(modem - long distance)
Dialup Access Service (DAS) -
DAS
access (long distance)
VPN
-
Virtual Private Network (Local/International)
VPN service enables you to connect to the McGill network from
a non-McGill Internet service provider (such as Bell Sympatico High Speed
Edition service, High Speed Internet Access from Videotron, or any commercial
dialup service).
