Policy Research Working Papers
The Policy Research Working Paper Series disseminates the findings of work in progress to encourage the exchange of ideas about development issues. The Working Paper Series encompasses 10 subject areas: Domestic finance and capital markets, Education and labor markets, Environmentally sustainable development, Poverty and social services, Infrastructure and urban development, Institutions and the public sector, International economics, Macroeconomics, Private sector development, and Transitional economies.

Living Standards Measurement Study (LSMS)
Living Standards Measurement Study (LSMS) household surveys have become an important tool  in measuring and understanding poverty in developing countries. The Development Economics  Research Group (DECRG) of the World Bank, formerly the Policy Research Department, maintains  this website to make available to researchers around the world the data sets and ethodological lessons from these surveys.
 

Economic Growth Project
The Economic Growth Project of the World Bank's Policy Research Department examines the relationship between national policies and economic growth. This web site was designed to help disseminate the fruits of this  economic research work, specifically published articles and working papers (with the associated data sets), as well as some related literature.
